This year our programme emphasizes short films and documentaries. The GLBT life is viewed from many dirctions ? for example: can gay people rap or what was it like to found a club for leasbian and gay people in Norway in the 1950?s?

Our special theme this year is animation, which is presented in the compilation called Animated Gays. It will also be shown at the Animatricks animation film festival in the beginning of November. In addition we?re screening Finnish films in two screenings. Feature films once again vary in continents and atmospheres: we?re travelling from the ethereal Taiwan to the fast streets of London and from a Thai-boxing ring to the vivid bars of Dublin.

For choosing the screenings we?re giving you a piece of advise: take a different view. Be curious and courageous. If you?re a man, take a look at how at the life of a female couple. If you?re a woman, check out how transsexuals are doing. A good film is always a breathtaker regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
