Comic strip exhibition | Turku from Nov 7th to 23rd

Nakki and Tappi

Mattipekka Ratia's Nakki and Tappi have made many smile. The insightful and warm-hearted comic features a gay man couple, Markku and Heikki, in their late thirties.

Markku is the dreamer of the family. At 37 his biological clock no longer ticks but thumps like a train. Years of fighting the traditions is turning into cherishing them.

Even though both wear trousers, it is Heikki who decides what kind of domestic appliancies they buy. His enthusiasm for gadgets may lead to miscalulations, but otherwise he keeps the family down to Earth.

Exhibition opens at Cosmic Comic Cafe (Kauppiaskatu 4) on Friday Nov 7th.

Mattipekka Ratia signs his books at the Domino on Friday Nov 7th from 18.00 to 18.30.

No-one queues for IT-shares anymore...

...no-one queues for cruises to Tallinn...

...so why the heck, year after year, do we have to queue for the tickets for the gay screenings at the film festivals?

Autch!

we who don't know languages should never sit on the front row! My neck can't take reading the subtitles!
